The Launch of the Restoration Fund - May 2nd 2011
A triple celebration:
The Mayor of Hillingdon, Cllr. David Yarrow, planted a myrtle bush to celebrate the wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton.
After more than a hundred years, the Hawtrey family returned to their former home to help launch the Eastcote House Gardens Restoration Fund. The fund was started with a cheque for over £400.00 from Waitrose Ruislip.
Many dearly loved teddies took part in the Best Dressed Teddy Competition.

Community Picnic - July 9th 2011
Back by popular demand, after the success of the 2010 Community Picnic. The first Tug of War competition was held; the winning team from the Case is Altered, High Road, Eastcote received the Eastcote House Gardens trophy from the Mayor of Hillingdon Cllr. Mary O’Connor. Nick Hurd MP presented the Hinman Shield to this years recipients Field End Infants School. In addition to this, there were Classic cars, Guide Dog demonstration, plant sale plus lots of other stalls, all presided over by our very own Town Crier.

London Open House Weekend - Sunday 18th September 2011
The Friends of Eastcote House Gardens acted as guides and supplied refreshments for the London Open House Weekend. Visitors enjoyed seeing the inside of the Dovecote and learning it's history and uses.

Also, a rare glimpse inside the Stables (opened by courtesy of Eastcote Billiards and Snooker Club).

History displays were staged by the Ruislip, Northwood & Eastcote Local History Society and the Friends of EHG.

Tree Dressing - 26th November 2011
The first ever Tree Dressing event at Eastcote House Gardens. To celebrate the beginning of Advent and National Tree Week, Clive Room led the celebration with some interesting folklore and stories, followed by seasonal songs and Dressing the Tree. Refreshments were supplied by the Friends of Eastcote House Gardens.

Jubilee Orchard Planting Day - December 3rd 2011
FEGH and local people sponsored the planting of the Jubilee Orchard. Gerry Edwards, Chairman of the RHS Fruit Committee, over-saw the project.
