Summer Picnic June 6th 2015
Eastcote House Gardens was once again the centre of the Eastcote Community. Local groups and charities came together with all visitors to celebrate the restoration of our wonderful gardens.

The restoration works funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Hillingdon Council and the Friends of Eastcote House Gardens will ensure the future of our heritage for another 500 years.

Archaeology Open Day 12th July 2015
The culmination of this year's two-week dig, when lead archaeologist Les Capon showed over 150 around the site, explaining what has been discovered and showing some of the finds. The guests included the Mayor, Counsellor George Cooper and his wife, Judith, the Mayoress. The Stables and Dovecote were open to visitors, and The Gardens Cafe was also popular. And the digging continued to the last minute!

Open House Weekend Sunday 20th September 2015
A newly refurbished Eastcote House Gardens was able to take part in the London wide Open House Weekend. Joined by local community groups, Eastcote British Legion, Eastcote Horticultural Society, Eastcote Arts Society & Hillingdon Brain Tumour Group, the Friends of EHG welcomed visitors from all over London. Visitors, including the Deputy Mayor & Mayoress of Hillingdon, were able to see the completed restoration works and a display of Classic Cars.

Tree Dressing Saturday 28th November 2015
Warrender and Coteford Infants Choirs started the Advent Season and celebrated the start of National Tree Week with seasonal songs. The Mayor and Mayoress of Hillingdon Cllrs George & Judith Cooper led the Dressing of the 300 year old Yew tree.
