Website Statement

How personal information is dealt with on the website
If you just browse through the sections on the website then no personally identifiable information is used. There is no facility for a visitor to enter a user name and password on the website.

Visitor Information
Every computer connected to the internet is provided with a unique (domain) name and an IP (Internet Protocol) address. Moonrake Preserves does not host the website, this is done by a company called LCN. When a visitor comes to the website the LCN servers log the visit. Over a period of time it is possible for us to log into the LCN portal to see how many visitors have come to the website, how long they have stayed, which pages they have visited and what part of the world they have come from. This is useful information in that it gives statistical information about which pages are the most popular. As no personal user information is used on the website it is very unlikely that any individual's personal details can be tracked after visiting the site. The information that is collected by the LCN servers stays within the company on their servers.

Our website does contain links to other websites which we believe are safe to use. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over these external website(s). As such we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites.
